James D. Deuschle

Delta, Colorado resident, James Deuschle, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was 56 years young.
Visitation and viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Delta, Colorado with funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Eckert Cemetery.
James was born on June 24, 1963 to Sandra Smith and Carl Deuschle in Cortez, Colorado. He spent most of his childhood in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High School. After graduation, he attended Wyoming Tech where he received his Diesel Mechanics certificate.
On September 5, 1999, James married Wendy R. Camin in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have resided in Delta since 2002 moving from Montrose.
James was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Delta Ward; the NRA and National Hunter’s Association.
James loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and boating. He also enjoyed playing poker.
James is survived by his wife, Wendy Deuschle; his mother, Sandra Deuschle of Montrose; daughter, Shanaya Deuschle; son, Tyler Deuschle, both of Delta; step-daughter, Kymber (Zach) Gartin of Benson, Arizona; step-son, Marshel Keith, also of Benson; a brother David Deuschle; a sister, Tammy (Paul) Gallegos, all of Montrose; and a grandson, Wyatt Gartin.
James was preceded in death by his father, Carl Deuschle.
The family suggests memorial contributions to be made in James’ memory to HopeWest Hospice, P. O. Box 24, Delta, Colorado 81416.
