Montrose, Colorado resident, Pamala R. Nation, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at her residence. She was 62 years of age.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Delta. Interment will follow in Pea Green Cemetery.
Pamala Rae Branham was born on August 18, 1956 to Morris and Dolores Rae (Purvis) Branham, Jr. in Whiteland, Indiana. She spent her childhood in Morgantown, Indiana and graduated from Indian Creek High School.
Pam married Rob Byers on July 11, 1975. To this union two children, Shane and Amy, were born. Rob preceded Pam in death.
Pam then married Norman L. Nation, Jr. on September 24, 1988 in Cedaredge, Colorado. To this union, a son Levi was born.
She has resided in Montrose since 1988 moving from Palisade, Colorado.
Pam was a member of The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. She enjoyed hiking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing and anything outdoors. She was an avid speedwalker.
Pam is survived by her husband, Norman Nation of Montrose; two sons: Shane (Kara) Byers of Olathe and Levi (Jamie) Nation of Montrose; a daughter, Amy (Travis) Herrmann of Cortez, Colorado; a brother, Matt (Terri) Branham of Olathe; a brother-in-law, Charlie Francis of Morgantown, Indiana and four grandchildren.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband Rob Byers; parents, Morris and Dolores Branham; a brother, Mark Branham; a sister, Polly Francis; and granddaughter, Ella Byers; a sister-in-law, Darlene Branham.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
