History of Delta Hardware
Delta Hardware can trace its roots back to the late 1800's but the name Delta Hardware Company was recorded in 1915. 

The Kendrick family has been involved in the business since 1952 when Don Kendrick was hired to serve as a repair man and salesman in the 5000 square foot business. At the time the business stocked and sold hardware and farm supplies as well as sporting goods, paint, furniture, kitchen supplies and appliances.

Don served as the manager for the business until 1971 when he and his wife Atha then purchased the business from Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hensley. They operated the store for 10 years and then sold the business to their son Jim. Jim and Jonni have operated the business since that time.

The business was located at the corner of 3rd and Main in Delta Co from the early 1900's until 2006 when it then moved to the current location at 121 Gunnison River Drive. In 1995 the business became a proud member of the Ace Hardware family and is still loyal to the Ace Hardware name. While Jim and Jonni have operated the business they have seen it grow in size from 5,000 square feet of sales area to over 22,000 square feet currently.

Today the business no longer sells major appliances or guns and ammunition as it did in the past but it has expanded all other departments as the business has grown. During this time the staff has remained true to the commitment of courteous, fair and honest business practices as our mission statement indicates:
